Project Overview
Adidas has been defining the culture of sports and fashion for as long as many of us can remember and is currently the second-largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. For over seven decades, Adidas has been weaving the intersection between sports and fashion.
In its many efforts towards catering better to its diverse consumers across the world, Adidas needed an e-commerce store that would primarily serve the Nigerian population and other neighbouring countries.
While prioritising inclusivity and customer experience, we worked with Adidas to define what its local identity would look like, then we merged this vision with its existing brand identity to create a recognisable, yet relatable version, using carefully chosen imagery and colours. This, we paired with authentic local stories told through Adidas' motivational and pioneering brand voice.
When developing the website, we prioritised intuitiveness and customer and admin experience. The result is an e-commerce website that is inclusive, easy to use, rooted in Nigerian/ African identity, efficient, and encourages purchase.
Through user experience ethos, we reinvented the local customer experience for one of the world’s most beloved athletic apparel.
