Project Overview
AVA ONE is a Canadian virtual-care platform that connects patients with licensed healthcare professionals for online consultations, mental-health support, and prescriptions—accessible via a patient mobile app and a dedicated doctor web portal. Build Me App delivered the platform end-to-end. For patients, we built a React Native app with quick onboarding, insurance/profile capture, location-based availability, appointment booking, secure chat, and visit reminders. For clinicians, we developed a React/Next.js web application featuring an at-a-glance dashboard, scheduling, patient records, visit notes, and e-prescription workflows. Under the hood, we implemented role-based access controls, encrypted data at rest/in transit, event analytics for funnel visibility, and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, safe releases. The information architecture and UI were designed mobile-first, with clear calls-to-action and streamlined flows that reduce drop-off from discovery to booking. The result is a cohesive virtual-care experience: patients book and attend visits from their phones, while providers manage schedules and documentation from a modern browser interface.
