Project Overview
MonkeySports, a brick-and-mortar and ecommerce sporting goods company, was facing stiff competition from big box retailers online. A longtime SEO client of the NextLeft team, the decision was made to add content marketing to their mix of strategies to reinvigorate their user experience and their rankings. By optimizing existing content, reorganizing where that content lived on the website, and producing new content that answered the questions their customers were asking, not only did MonkeySports successfully beat out big box stores to rank #1 in organic search, they also saw a 35% increase in their average order size when the new content was visited. To top it all off, this campaign won the ‘Best SEO Campaign’ honors at the U.S. Search Awards in 2015.
