Bulldog Skincare ditched their behemoth big hitting ad agency to work with us on their new global TV campaign. Good decision.
Our Bulldog Skincare Discovery campaign resulted in a 28% uplift in brand consideration and a 27% increase in purchase intent. Zero shirtless models, marketing cliches, delicate face splashes, or ‘science bit’ tropes. Instead, we subverted the grooming category by creating a spot for Bulldog’s Original Moisturiser and another for their Bamboo Razor that delivered honesty and humour.
The discovery campaign is rooted in the idea of discovery through friends - discerning mates who have the jump on you when it comes to a good skincare routine. We filmed the spots in a London studio with a cast of men (and a dog!) not typical of the category, building bespoke sets to reflect the Bulldog brand world and producing bonus material for digital and edits for out of home.
