Project Overview
Catisphere is a partially branded Facebook community dedicated to our mutual love of cats and commitment to their wellness. The program is sponsored by Revolution (cat flea and tick Rx medication). In a world often focused on dog owners, the community aims to provide cat-lovers a place where they can celebrate their appreciation of all things feline. We encourage participants to have a lively and fun dialogue, and share mutual expertise, resources, and passions. Catisphere creates a direct link between Zoetis (maker of Revolution) and their customer that does not have to go through the Veterinarian. This creates a path for engagement, education on cat wellness, direct marketing messages and loyalty program integration. Catisphere has been a big success to both the participants and to Zoetis. In a world where Facebook reach and engagement is pay to play, Catisphere is a rare standout. Catisphere has a 10-15% engagement rate and spends no more than $100 per post on boosting. In addition, Catisphere has built a robust customer database and spurred new direct marketing campaigns.
