Project Overview
Senator Kennedy envisioned the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate as a new model for civic education and public discourse, a place where people from all walks of life could participate in an inspiring, hands-on experience that would expand and deepen their understanding of the vital role the Senate plays in our democracy. To fulfill that vision, ESI Design imagined a dynamic and participatory exhibit, event and learning environment—and brought it to life. Through interactive technology, highly visual and information-rich content and collaborative activities—all of which take place in and around a realistic, full-scale model of the U.S. Senate Chamber—ESI has created an unparalleled, immersive experience that directly engages visitors in the spirit of civic dialogue, compromise and collaboration.Client
