Building a solution that creates product labels based on product technical documentation. Products are industrial chemicals where special regulations apply to the information required on the labels. We built solution that retrieves the required information as soon as a new document (or a new version of a document) is published and creates a PDF label that is ready to print. This has reduced error rates significantly, both in terms of creating the labels, as well as printing them on demand. Initially done for 4 product groups in 30+ languages. Later expanded to more product groups. Initially built in a way where information was extracted from technical documents in PDF formats, but later transformed completely to use APIs, as well as building further features and improvements.Client
