Project Overview
J&J had developed a clinical trial management system to streamline clinical research operations. The application mainly manages critical functions such as study tracking, financial accounting, scheduling, reporting and more. The application development was headed by a Russian company for the last 7 years. With some operational and litigation, the company decided to migrate all development work with in-house resources. They needed an immediate development team to rescue source code, build knowledge on the development architecture and fix major bugs in the existing development. We were chosen based on our best presented approach of taking over the project, architectural and development skills in the targeted domain. We managed the development processes for two years and helped J&J onshore team in seamless transition. Initially a senior solution architect and network specialist got involved to rescue code, migrate and deploy application in new development environment. The solution architect started mapping the application processes and allocated a development team to quickly resolve bugs in the application. The developers were engaged in two shifts to expedite development and provide live support to any possible queries from project coordinators in different time zones.Client
