Project Overview
We redesigned Purelake New Homes’ website using a secure hybrid approach that combined our DBETA Framework 6.0 with selected WordPress features. The aim was to give the company a modern, reliable digital presence while allowing their team to manage key content in-house. Challenge Purelake had outgrown their previous WordPress website. Over time, the platform became unstable due to plugin conflicts, security concerns, and ongoing maintenance issues. This left the business with a site that no longer reflected their professional standards and was increasingly difficult for the team to update. They needed a modern rebuild that reduced technical risks, improved performance, and allowed staff to manage core content—without relying on a full WordPress setup or constant external support. Solution We started by planning a refreshed user experience through wireframes created in Relume and Figma. The new design focused on clean layouts, clear structure, and stronger brand presentation. The main website was rebuilt on our DBETA Bones Framework 6.0 to ensure speed, security, and long-term stability. To maintain flexibility, we integrated selected areas with WordPress, including the blog, case studies, and key homepage components. This hybrid approach gave Purelake control over the content they needed to update, while keeping the rest of the site free from plugin-heavy dependencies. Impact The new website provided Purelake with a stable, secure, and professional platform that better represents their brand. Their team can now update important content easily, while the framework handles the technical side with far fewer risks than their previous build. The shift from a fully WordPress site to a hybrid setup removed ongoing maintenance problems, reduced vulnerabilities, and created a digital presence designed to last.
