The San Diego Chargers are one of the most formidable teams in the NFL—top 5 in wins over the past decade, a roster full of all-pros and an equally formidable following of hardcore, never-say-die fans.
But despite the team’s success and deep seeded devotion, ticket sales had flat lined. Not only had marketing efforts grown stale over the years, criticism of management, the team and so-called fair weather fans was loud and widespread. As if that weren’t enough, trade speculation and rumors of the franchise leaving San Diego were rampant.
Our solution was simple. Talk openly about it all. From TV to ticketing to social media, the “We’re All In” campaign is raw, audacious, gritty and unfiltered. It embraces the chatter and uses it as a catalyst to galvanize the team and city, inspiring new season ticket holders and more casual fans to fill the stadium each week.
