Capital Numbers partnered with a U.S.-based client to develop an order fulfillment application that efficiently bridges eCommerce platforms with a shared supplier network. The primary goal was to automate order management, minimize delays, and enable merchants to concentrate on business growth by streamlining logistics. This solution allows eCommerce merchants to update product catalogs, process bulk orders, and arrange direct dispatches from a single, intuitive dashboard. Key challenges addressed included ensuring real-time synchronization between suppliers, the order fulfillment app, and various eCommerce platforms. This required the development of robust API connectors, innovative plugins, and custom integrations. For instance, when a supplier updated product information - such as pricing or stock status - the system needed to reflect these changes instantly across all connected eCommerce stores, eliminating manual edits and data mismatches. Additionally, the application incorporated features like bulk order processing through Excel uploads, enabling store owners to submit large order files efficiently. Capital Numbers engineered a cohesive ecosystem by integrating the supplier's .NET-based system with a MERN-based order fulfillment app, which then synchronized with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix.
