180LA won Best on Instagram at the 2015 Shorty Awards for creating the #ThrowMeBack campaign for Expedia – in order to promote summer travel and grow their Instagram following.
Every Thursday, people who tagged their post with #ThrowMeBack would enter a chance to get thrown back to the place the original picture was taken and recreate the memory. With a small budget, 180LA created a campaign that received over 5 million impressions, 300K in total engagement and 5,000 submissions. From the 5K submissions, ten lucky winners were selected.Client
