Project Overview

The FC2 female condom is the only hormone-free, chemical-free contraceptive that puts women in control. In fact, it’s been empowering women around the world for decades to take charge of their own bodies and lives. But the female condom category has remained a culturally rejected form of birth control in the U.S. Even when it has the ability to work in our favor, change is sometimes…intimidating. The fear of loss tends to be stronger than the hope of gain.   We knew that in order to make people comfortable with the discomfort of change, we had to be honest and unapologetic about the ins and outs of the condom. So we created the first ever V-Rated PSA campaign, a no-holds-barred, NSFW social video that unapologetically addresses every flaw, every quirk and every benefit of the FC2 female condom. The approach successfully diffuses the taboo and empowers women to challenge conventional wisdom around safe sex.
