Engaging, Hands-on and Ahead-of-the-curve

In 2002 Liz Anderson founded E.H. Anderson Public Relations as a media relations company. Bage Anderson came on board a year later with video production abilities and a nose for news. During our first 10 years, ubiquitous internet access and social media became the norm. Our video content offering exploded, accounting for nearly half of our revenues.

In staying ahead of the curve in this ever-changing PR and marketing landscape, we often ask clients, prospects, partners and vendors their opinions on the state of marketing today.

This is what we hear:

Video is super important
Video needs to be relevant, quick and affordable
SEO, PR and video should all tie together
Video consulting may be a good idea (how to create content in-house)
Using existing materials and Skype for interviews makes video creation more affordable
PR agencies are too focused on placement
Lack of agency knowledge blending traditional with digital PR
Brand-generated content creation is important
A PR/video combo is rare, yet effective

That video plays a major role in the future of digital communications, creating multimedia content that is tied to editorial is even a better use of our unique ability. Cheers to the next 10 years.
