Our Process
STEP 0:LET'S CHAT
Usually through a phone call, or meeting.
We’re perfectionists, and our design process is very collaborative. Before we take on a client, brand, or project – we first have to get to know you.
Why? Well we have to figure out who’s the person or company behind the idea. What they stand for, and what their vision is.
We speak corporate, but also casual. We’re approachable.
STEP 1:RESEARCH & DISCOVERY
Let’s shed some light on the unknown.
After our chat, or email, we go to work. We assess the scope of the project, and evaluate attack plans. This can include identifying your market niche, audience, competitive landscape, and figuring out how to best tie it in with your vision.
Not all projects are the same, and we offer varying types of services ranging from technical, creative, to consulting – depending on the project this step may involve different steps.
STEP 2:DEFINE & DRAFT
Building the strategy.
Things get interesting here. For web services this involves developing wire frames, drafting a page breakdown (sitemap), as well as content. For graphic design, marketing, and brand development this can include mock ups, direction drafting, preliminary designs and more.
We’ll need your feedback and approval on a couple things here to continue, but don’t worry – this step is usually very exciting.
STEP 3:DEVELOPMENT
We start creating.
At this stage, we have everything we need to implement and deliver. We’re nerds and geeks, and our passions are closely tied to our skill set. We are always in the loop with the latest best practices and trends when it comes to web development, and graphic design.
For web services : your site will be privately deployed with a temporary landing page. Once the release candidate is ready, you will be able to access it and provide feedback which we will use to create the final version. We wrap up by optimizing for speed, setting up content delivery networks, maximize search engine optimization, and get automatic backups running.
