Project Overview
AnySurfer wants to make the digital world more accessible, specifically for people with an impairment. They do this since the beginning in 2001 by providing information about website and digitaldocumentaccessibility. They also do this by working in partnership structurally with web design companies (approved builders), organisingtraining for web builders and editors and through sensitisation actions such as the accessibility monitor*.
Now that public sector body websites must comply with the EU Directive (2016/2102) in relation to web accessibility (websites, intranets, extranets, apps and PDF documents), AnySurfer wants to play a leading role. AnySurfer is a national project of the not-for-profit association Blindenzorg Licht and Liefde and provides quality labels for accessible websites. Sites, web builders and developers can obtain the AnySurferquality label. This is quite a significant step and a long process.
AnySurfer was looking for an innovative concept for the website as well as ideas to promote different graduations to simplify this. This means that every website that invests into web accessibility can already experience the advantages from phase 1.
The concept and starting the wireframes are the jobs that Wunderkraut's fulfils. As an approved web builder and ambassador for better digital accessibility we provide support for the development phase of a new three language www.anysurfer.be while focusing on responsive design with frontend and backend WCAG level AA compliancy. Development takes place in a later phase by AnySurfer.Client
