Launched in 2003 as one of a few sports-focused public relations agencies to emerge in the explosive U.S. Latino marketing field, today Sportivo (derivative: sports and deportivo) helps sports and lifestyle brands connect with the country’s largest minority group, with a sharp focus on the Latino male consumer.

Through strategic marketing and communications, Sportivo connects consumer brands, sports properties and athletes with strategic opportunities aimed at U.S. Latino consumers. In 2021, our work for adidas and the launch of a new Mexico national soccer team jersey was awarded "Best Multicultural Event Campaign" by Event Marketer magazine.

We chose to work with Mario and Jose because we wanted to highlight and honor our local Latinx fans while doing so in a respectful and authentic manner. That's where Sportivo came in. They were able to guide our direction and voice so that our fans felt catered to. We threw a Grand Finals watch party, "Zocalo", in the heart of LA with all local Latinx small business owners, from the food and drink, to art sellers, down to the chair vendor! I'd highly recommend working with them.
